01 Who we are

Ascend Email Marketing (AEM) is an email marketing agency for ecommerce brands. This policy covers the website www.ascendemailmarketing.com and the requests you make through it. Privacy questions? Email us at info@ascendemailmarketing.com.

02 What data we collect

We only collect what you fill in yourself in the contact or sign-up form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), your brand name and website, your platform, a revenue indication, your message and the services or packages you select.

Nothing more. We don't buy data, place tracking pixels or build advertising profiles.

03 What we use your data for

To answer your request, prepare a tailored proposal and stay in touch. You receive an email confirmation after submitting.

We don't send newsletters or marketing emails unless you ask for them. We never sell your data to third parties.

04 Legal basis

We process your data because it's necessary to handle your request and prepare a possible engagement (pre-contractual phase and performance of the agreement). Securing our site is based on our legitimate interest.

05 Cookies and local storage

We don't use tracking cookies or analytics that follow you.

Your choices in the pricing configurator and sign-up form are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), so you don't have to click them again. That data stays on your own device and only reaches us the moment you submit your request. You can clear it anytime via your browser settings.

06 Who we share data with

Only with parties needed to run the site and our email: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps technical server logs (such as IP address) to deliver and secure the site, and our email provider sends and receives the messages.

Beyond that we share your data with no one, unless we're legally required to.

07 Retention

We keep your data as long as needed for your request or our engagement. If you don't become a client, we delete your request no later than 12 months after the last contact. Invoices follow statutory retention periods.

08 Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, object to processing and request a copy to take with you. Email info@ascendemailmarketing.com and we'll take care of it.

Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

09 Changes

We may update this policy, for example when our services change. The latest version always lives on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
